History
In 1985, Shaun Merrell, Sr. established his first company, SM Construction, out of Baltimore County, Maryland. SM Construction quickly grew to one of the largest sub-contractors in the area, working for some of the largest companies in Maryland.
In 1993, Mr. Merrell decided to take another avenue with his career and started a new company. Using the relationships he developed as a sub-contractor over the years, and having a large pool of field employees, his new company supplied skilled manpower to contractors. By 1994, Unlimited Services Available was officially born and rapidly expanded into the Virginia and Washington DC areas.
Ten years later, Mr. Merrell’s brother (and then office manager of Unlimited Services Available) was interested in starting up a residential remodeling company. With the success of Unlimited Services Available, Mr. Merrell was happy to get back to what he loved. In just over a year the company had received much success. Soon after, Mr. Merrell gave the remodeling company to his brother and started a new remodeling company of his own.
In March of 2006, Shaun Merrell Inc. was introduced and has been expanding ever since. With over 25 years of experience backing a quality of workmanship that is unmatched, Shaun Merrell Inc. has exploded into one of the fastest growing home improvement contractors in the Maryland area, including Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. With 70% of the remodeling projects coming from referrals of satisfied customers and jobsite passerby’s, the quality of work produced is without question.
The company recently changed its name from Shaun Merrell Inc. to Maryland Remodeling & Design/Build, the premier home improvement contractor in the Maryland area.
